Pamela Jameson, born on April 4, 1955, in Ohio, passed away on July 10, 2024, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, surrounded by family.
Pam dedicated 22 years of her life to the South Carolina Port Authority before retiring. Pamela will always be remembered for her love of playing cards, especially rummy, and her joy in cruising with friends and family. Her proudest accomplishment was her family and grandchildren.
Pamela was a loving mother to her daughter Angela Peets and her husband Daniel of Orangeburg, South Carolina; and her son Denver Leven and his wife Miranda of Monks Corner, South Carolina. She is also survived by three sisters: Rebecca "Becky" Henry of Waynesville, Toni Wilson of Asheville, and Nancy Jameson of Waynesville. Additionally, eight cherished grandchildren and her boyfriend Jerry Belding mourn her passing.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Denver Henry Sr. and Donna Jean Talley; as well as her brother Bill Henry. Her memory will be forever cherished by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in the Chapel of Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville with Reverend Roger Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 15, 2024, at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville. Burial will follow the service Tuesday, at Bethel Community Cemetery.
