Pamela Jean Ledwell

Pamela Jean Ledwell, born on January 25, 1963, in Gastonia, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025. She was 62 years old.

Pam was known for her indomitable spirit and fierce independence. Despite facing challenges from disabilities since birth, she lived her life on her own terms. Pam worked proudly as a secretary at Gaston Skills, where she dedicated herself to supporting those in need through Handicap Job Services.

Pam was a devoted cat lover, with a special place in her heart for her furry companions. She is survived by her beloved feline, Oliver, who will miss her deeply. She was also preceded in death by her cherished cat, "Kitty."

Pam's sister, Janice Messer (John Sergent) and her brothers, Randy Ledwell (Brenda) and Stoney Ledwell (Teresa Hudson) will honor her memory and the love they shared. She is also survived by her nephew Bobby Ledwell (Joy), many other nieces and nephews, and her caregiver Holly.

All services will be private.

Pam will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and the joy she brought to those around her. She leaves a legacy of love and resilience that will resonate with all who knew her. Rest in peace, Pam. You will be missed.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Hoyle and Gwin Ledwell; sister, Pat Walls.
