PAMELA RENEE FLOWERS MONEY
GULF SHORES, AL… Pamela Renee Flowers Money, a resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama, passed away from an extended illness on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at her home. She was 69.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with Reverend James “Dusty” Gray officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2506 SR-134, Headland, Alabama 36345, or www.give.tithe.ly.
Mrs. Money was born in Dothan, Alabama to the late Milton Flowers and Doris Farmer Flowers. She lived in Headland, Alabama for her childhood and young adult lifetime. She was a 1974 graduate of Headland High School, where she was very active in the NJROTC. In 1973, she was crowned Miss Headland. The following year, in 1974, she held the title of Miss National Peanut. In 1975, she became Miss Alabama USA, placed as 1st Runner-Up at the Miss USA pageant, where she also won the Miss Photogenic award. She pursued a successful modeling career for years. She served as the President of the GOP campaign headquarters in Collier County, Florida. She had also lived in Naples, Florida before moving to Gulf Shores, Alabama seven years ago.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, James Flowers, Jerry Flowers, and Robert Dell Flowers.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her husband, Steve Money, Gulf Shores, AL; her daughter, Laina Posey (Neville), Spanish Fort, AL ; her grandchildren, Bria DeLong, Olivia Posey, Emilia Posey, and Thomas Posey all of Spanish Fort, AL; her sister, Margaret Pitchford of Abbeville, AL; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Flowers, Macon, GA, Sylvia Flowers, Macon, GA, and Donna Flowers, Alexis, IL; her brothers-in-law, Richard Money (Terri), Shane Money (Janet), and Chris Money (Susan) all of Headland, AL; her special nephew, Glen Pitchford (Leisa) of Rehobeth, AL; and her several nieces, nephews and cousins.
