Pamela Ann (Schmidt) Moore, age 79, passed away at her home in Caldwell, Texas, on March 12, 2026, following a multi-year battle with cancer.
Desperately missing her are her devoted husband of 60 years, Warren Neal Moore, Jr.; her children and their spouses Melody and Jose Gonzalez, Kim and Lindsey Eubank, Warren Neal III (Trey) and Darla Moore, and Tia and Randy Loya. Also mourning her are her siblings Lee Burson, Carl Schmidt, Sabrina Rust, sisters in law Carolyn Schmidt and Willie Mae Freeman plus countless loved ones, related and un-related, who called her “Mom” or "Gramma."
Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren Elizabeth Moore, Savannah Covert, Warren Neal Moore, IV (Ford), Samuel Weiser, and Abigail McBride, and their spouses. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Quinn Moore, Asher Dean, Sloan Covert, Warren Neal Moore, V (Russ), Sage Covert, Jesse McBride, Reese Moore, and a new McBride baby arriving in October.
Pamela was born on June 24, 1946, in Sugarland, Texas, to Roy and Anita Schmidt. She met Warren Neal Moore in Alvin, and they were married in 1965. While Warren attended Texas A&M University, they were blessed with two daughters, Melody and Kimberly, and later, they welcomed their son Trey. Together, they built a life in Keller, Texas, where they owned a business. They spent their early retirement watching Aggie sports in College Station, Texas before relocating to Triple Creek Ranch in 2006. Her top priorities were her family, and God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Anita Schmidt; her in-laws, Warren and Christine Moore; and her brother Charles Schmidt.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 22, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell, Texas. A Mass to celebrate Pamela’s life will be held on Monday, March 23, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Caldwell..
