PAMELA ROMERO Obituary

PAMELA ROMERO
February 03, 2025
A Beautiful Soul, Pam Romero passed away peacefully in the early hours of February 3, 2025, at the age of 71, with her partner Mary by her side.
She will be greatly missed by her longtime partner, Mary, as well as her close and constant friends Heidi and Andrea and her surviving sister, Patti. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Hazel Romero, and her beloved dogs, Quixote, Miss Kitty, and Peetie.
Pam will be remembered for her radiant smile, infectious sense of humor, and impeccable taste. She found joy in working with clients at Precious Cargo and La Mesa of Santa Fe but cherished time spent at home the most.
Born in California, Pam had a deep love for the beach, but Santa Fe was where she truly felt at home. She adored the city's blue skies and the presence of Blue Jays and Chickadees. She took great pleasure in tending to her garden, sharing wonderful meals with friends, and listening to the music of Joni Mitchell.
Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her.
Special gratitude is extended to Dr. Rosen and the healthcare professionals who provided kindness and support in her final months.
A private burial will take place, and a celebration of her life will be held this summer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pam's name to the Santa Fe Animal Shelter, Wildlife Foundation, or ALS Foundation.
