Pamela Dawn Sullivan, 64, of Harrisville, Utah, passed away peacefully on May 8th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Pam was born on April 22nd, 1961, in Taber, Alberta, Canada, to Ray Percy and Verla Edwards. She was raised in nearby Barnwell, where she learned the values of kindness, faith, and service that defined her life.

Pam served faithfully as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Switzerland Geneva Mission from 1982 to 1984, sharing her testimony of Jesus Christ and serving the people she grew to love.

On March 16th, 1985, Pam married the love of her life, John L Sullivan III, in the Cardston, Alberta, Canada LDS Temple. Together, they raised their family along Utah’s Wasatch Front, living in Salt Lake City, Logan, and eventually making their home in Harrisville.

While working full-time and raising her family, Pam pursued higher education with determination and faith. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Utah, and later completed her graduate degree from Utah State University, setting an incredible example of dedication, hard work, and lifelong learning.

After completing her graduate studies, Pam dedicated over 20 years of her career to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at Deseret Industries, where she found great purpose and fulfillment helping individuals overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve self-reliance. Her work there was a natural extension of her lifelong commitment to service, compassion, and lifting others through love and encouragement.

A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Pam served in many callings, including in the Primary, Relief Society Presidency, and as a dedicated Visiting Teacher. She was known for her compassionate heart and Christlike example, always putting others before herself.

Pam is survived by her children:

John Michael (Elaina) Sullivan of Phoenix, Arizona. Catie Marie (Juan) Gutierrez of Hooper, Utah. Liam Thomas Sullivan of Ogden, Utah

She was a proud and devoted grandmother to: Abigail (18), Lucas (17), Dominic (13), Sophia (11), Jackson (10), Declan (7), and Landon (5).

She is also survived by her dear siblings:

Lynn (Deb) Edwards, Cheryl (Gene) Collicutt, Shauna (Randy) Leavitt, Denise (Rick) Curliss, Loraine (Perry) Froc.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John, and her loving parents, Ray and Verla.

Pam’s life was a reflection of selfless love, quiet service, and unwavering faith. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, learning, and devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 16th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 435 W Harrisville Rd, Harrisville, UT 84404. Family and friends are invited to gather with the family beginning at 12:00 p.m. (noon) prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Hooper City Cemetery.

Our family extends heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbors, and church members who have lovingly served and supported Mom over the years. We especially want to express our deep appreciation to the Fresenius Dialysis Team in Farr West, Utah, for their exceptional care, compassion, and support throughout Mom’s health journey.
