Gladys Sullivan Obituary
Mrs. Gladys Ellen Sullivan, age 81 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Friday, January 2, 2026, at home. A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Sullivan will be conducted on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, 3PM in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Dyer, Tennessee.
She was born January 1, 1945, in Dyer, TN; the daughter of the late Grady Ewell & Lizzie Mai Orr Thompson. Gladys had been employed at World Color Press until her retirement.
Gladys is survived by her son, Michael Eddlemon and husband Roger; and one brother, Bill Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edwin Sullivan; her daughter, Leslie Eddlemon and her parents, Grady and Lizzie Thompson
Visitation with family and friends will begin at 1PM at the Rutherford chapel and go until service time. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Gladys Ellen Sullivan.
