Danielle Sullivan Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home, LLC on Feb. 17, 2026.
Danielle Sullivan, age 55, passed away on February 11, 2026. Born on October 25, 1970, in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, she was the beloved daughter of Daniel and Sylvia Goins.

She was a 1988 graduate of Ringgold High School and went on to earn a degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. Danielle married the love of her life, Robert Sullivan, on September 12, 1992, in Donora, Pennsylvania. Together they built a life rooted in love, partnership, and unwavering devotion to family.

Danielle began her professional life as a social worker, dedicating herself to helping others. When she became pregnant with her first daughter, she made the wholehearted decision to step into motherhood full time - a role she embraced with immense pride, joy, and devotion. She created a home filled with warmth, laughter, encouragement, and unconditional love.

Danielle lived life fully. One of her greatest passions was traveling the world with the people she loved most. She especially loved visiting the Caribbean - drawn to the peaceful rhythm of island life and the beauty of the sea. Music was also a constant joy in her life. A devoted Bon Jovi fan, she could often be found singing along to her favorite hits, bringing her joy wherever she was. Danielle cherished time spent with her friends, whether gathering for simple moments together or celebrating life's special occasions. The memories created while traveling - and in the everyday moments filled with music, friendship, family, and laughter - will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

Over the past year, Danielle faced cancer with extraordinary strength, courage, and grace. Even during her hardest days, her love for her family never wavered, and her spirit continued to shine. In her final months, her family was able to give her what she had always dreamed of - a life by the water in Florida by her sister, and the joy of having her husband and two daughters living together once again. She experienced comfort and togetherness in a way that meant everything to her. Although it was a difficult season, it was also one filled with closeness and moments that will be forever treasured.

Danielle leaves behind her loving husband, Robert; her sister, Tammy (and spouse Scott); and her daughters, Nicole (29) and Cassidy (26). Other relatives she is survived by include her parents-in-law Rose and Sam, brother-in-law Michael (and spouse Regina), and nieces and nephews Kylie, Brenna, Shannon, and Tyler. Her love lives on in them and in all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be remembered for her selflessness, her joyful heart, her adventurous spirit, and her truly beautiful soul.

Family and friends whose lives were touched by Danielle are invited to attend a visitation at Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home, LLC, 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe, from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday, February 26, 2025, and Noon to 2 PM on Saturday, February 28, 2025. Please note, there will be no visitation on Friday, February 27th. A memorial service will begin at 2 PM on Saturday, February 28, 2025, in the funeral home with the Rev. Chris Whitehead officiating. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the ROS1ers in memory of Danielle at https://www.theros1ders.org/donate.
