Corey A Rich

Corey A. Rich, age 59, of Franklin Park passed away on February 15, 2026. He leaves his beloved wife of 29 years, Susan (Arco) Rich. Corey was a loving father to his two beautiful daughters, Nicole Sweitzer (Chris) and Natalie Rich.
Corey was preceded in death by his father, John Rich (Ute). Additionally, he leaves his mom, Carol Shilling and a brother, Jeff Rich (Teena). Step brothers Wayne Bovier (Angie) and Clint Bovier (Cathrine). Corey was a loving uncle of Pilar Arco, Morgan Eisenhower (Clint), Jordan Rich (Becca), and Travis Dodds (Lindsay) and great-uncle of Eller Dodds, Wesley Dodds, and Astrid Eisenhower.

Corey graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in civil engineering. Corey's love of planning, problem solving, and analysis made for a perfect career choice in civil engineering. He worked for Tetra Tech for more than thirty years as a project manager.

Corey was committed to service. He devoted time to coaching youth sports, was president of the Richwood Hunting Club. He served as secretary of the Premier Bicycle Club. Additionally, he served Ingomar Methodist Church as both an usher and a member of the finance committee.
Never one to let a single moment get away from him, Corey was an avid cyclist, skier, hunter, fisherman, kayaker and all around outdoorsman. A highlight of his cycling accomplishments was achieving "King of the Mountain" on the Reddish Knob climb outside of Harrisonburg, Virginia. He pursued excellence in all of his outdoor hobbies, but not at the expense of missing time with his wife and daughters. He and his wife, Susan, enjoyed travelling, dinners out, and listening to local, live music. He looked forward to Fall getaways with their card playing friends. Corey was a proud father and family man who always encouraged, cheered for, coached, and, yes, critiqued his girls, when they were engaged in the activities that were important to them.

The family will welcome friends on Friday, February 20th from 4:00-8:00 pm. at Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1600 Stone Mansion Drive, Sewickley, PA 15143 (Franklin Park/Wexford).
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Ingomar United Methodist Church, 1500 W Ingomar Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
