Ms. Pamela Kaye Thompson, age 59, of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center.
She was born on November 7, 1964 in Villa Rica, Georgia to Mr. Sharon Duane Gray, Sr. and Mrs. Lillian Bernice Golden. She worked as a bus driver for the Paulding County Board of Education.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Adam Thompson.
Pamela is survived by her son, Chris Waggoner; daughter, Staci Atkins (Anthony); daughter, Megan Higdon (Waylon); grandchildren, Hunter Atkins, Noah Atkins, Dakota Atkins, Benjamin Atkins, Neveah Waggoner, Colton Waggoner, Gavin Waggoner, Baylee Echols, Mackinze Waggoner, Cloey Waters, Brylee Marable, Mayson Cook, Jayda Higdon; sister, Tammy Gray; sister, Sonya Gray; brother, Duane Gray; step father, L.C. Golden; step sister, Sonya Addison; step sister, Vickie Haynes; step brother, Travis Golden (Deborah), step brother, Rev. Darryl Golden (Janice); step-mother, Betty Gray; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services for Ms. Pamela Kaye Thompson will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Benson Funeral Home at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Darryl Golden officiating. Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 2 P.M. until the time of the service at 3 P.M.
