Pamela Sue Wilson, daughter of Nadine Wilson Stender, was born on April 7, 1957, in Denison, Iowa. She attended Denison Community Schools and graduated with the Class of 1975.
Following graduation, Pam participated in activities at WESCO Industries, where she especially enjoyed playing Bingo and Skip-Bo. She also loved working on Word Find books, watching game shows, and spending time with animals, especially dogs.
Pam was known for her feisty spirit and kind heart, a combination that made her unforgettable to everyone who knew her. Her stubborn streak kept those around her on their toes, while her gentle nature made her deeply loved by family and friends.
Pam passed away on November 2, 2025, at the Good Samaritan Society Nursing Home in Holstein, Iowa, at the age of 68.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nadine; stepfather, Harold Stender; grandparents, Charles Edward and Mildred (Remmes)Wilson; uncles, Jim Wilson and Michael “Bill” O’Neill; and cousin, Kevin O’Neill.
Left to cherish her memory are her aunt, Rita O’Neill; cousins, Mary O’Neill; Lori (Mark) Lonneman; Sean (Audra) O’Neill; Jill (Shad) Smith; Tari (Chris) Croy; Shannon (Chad) Gebers; Erin (Jesse) Gleason; and Ryan (Amber) O’Neill.
Pam will be dearly missed by all her friends and the staff at WESCO, who provided loving care throughout her life. Their kindness and support brought her great comfort and dignity and will always be remembered with deep gratitude. She will also be fondly remembered by the many staff members at the Good Samaritan Society and the CRMC Hospice team for their compassionate care and friendship.
Visitation with family greeting friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, all at Huebner Funeral Home in Denison. Interment will be in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery in Denison.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to WESCO Industries.
Pam was a T-shirt kind of gal who loved to keep things comfortable and fun. In her spirit, the family encourages everyone attending to wear their favorite T-shirt or one that reminds them of Pam.
