Pamla Comstock Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Modetz Funeral Home - Silverbell Chapel on Mar. 11, 2026.
Pamla Kay Comstock of Lake Orion passed away March 10, 2026. She was 73. Loving wife of the late Daniel; dear mother of Justin (Amanda) Comstock and Kevin (Christy) Comstock; proud and adored grandma of Layla, Piper, Harbor, Greyson, Lyndon, Elias, Zayden, Breslyn, Asher and Jolene; sister-in-law of Beverly (Richard) Patchett, Susie Rothenberger, the late Shirley (the late Francis) Fitzpatrick, the late James (the late Kathy) Comstock and the late David (Lori) Comstock.

Pam Comstock was born in Pontiac, Michigan to Marvin and Clara Martin and spent much of her life in Lake Orion, Michigan, where she was known for her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit.

She built a career as a talented hairstylist helping many people feel confident and cared for through her work.

A dedicated volunteer, she gave her time to many organizations including Leader Dog for the Blind, Desert Angels, Paws to read, and would take her therapy dog, Hunter, to many nursing homes and hospitals to provide happiness to the patients. Through these efforts, she touched many lives and brought comfort, encouragement, and companionship to those around her.

She enjoyed an active and adventurous life. She loved music, running, gardening, riding her motorcycle, and spending time around her horse, Shadow. She especially loved entertaining, having many dinner parties. As music lover she opened her home for piano lessons and learned to play the violin later in life. Many of her happiest memories were made during adventures with her husband, Dan and her two sons, Justin and Kevin.

Pam was a devoted grandmother who shared a very special bond with her granddaughters. Being their grandma brought her great joy, and she treasured the time they spent together.

She will be remembered for her generous spirit, her sense of adventure, her love for family, friends, and the kindness she showed to everyone she met. She will be missed dearly.
