Park Benner

Reverend Park Wayne Benner, 90, of Springfield, MO passed away to join his Lord on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. He attended Northeast Bible College and graduated from American Bible College. Park pastored for 36 years in Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia in the Assemblies of God and later worked as a Processor for the General Council of the Assemblies of God.
Park enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 63 years, Florence Benner; a son, Reverend David Benner; and a daughter, Faith Benner.
Park is survived by his second wife, Jackie Sager Benner; daughters, Carol Smith of Morgantown, WV and Connie Benton and husband, Kevin of Springfield, MO; daughter-in-law, Sharon Benner of Latrobe, PA; brother, Lawrence Benner of McAlisterville, PA; two stepsons; Daniel and Darrell Swope. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, with funeral services to follow at 11 AM, Saturday, February 4, 2023, in the Grace Assembly of God, 500 W Mt. Vernon, Springfield, MO with Reverend Jerry Snavely and Reverend Jeff Green officiating. A private graveside service for the family will be held at Goodwill Cemetery in Bunkertown, PA.
