Parker Anthony Douglas, age 18, passed away on November 27, 2023. He was born on December 19, 2004 in Geneva, IL. He graduated from Geneva High School and went to Southern Illinois University where he was studying to be a pilot and was a member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. 

Parker always greeted everyone with a smile, open arms and a helpful hand. He was a young man that everyone loved. He was thoughtful, funny and made a lasting impression on everyone around him. He was the shining light in a dark room. He will be missed beyond words by his family, friends and community and will never be forgotten.

Parker is survived by his parents, Jennifer Douglas, and Ryan Douglas; sister, Payton and brother, Brayden; grandparents, Doug and Louise Anderson and Renee and Charles Douglas; aunts, Heather Anderson and Kimberly (Tyler) Melso; uncles, Paul (Taylor), Sean (Mariah) and Zachary Douglas; and many relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. and Main), West Chicago. Family and friends to meet on Saturday, December 2, 2023 directly at St. Peter Church, 1891 Kaneville Rd., Geneva where a funeral mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Contributions can be made directly to the family to defray funeral costs. For Info (630) 231-0060 or Jennifer Douglas.
