Parry Peppler Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lighthouse Family Mortuary - Greeley on Dec. 29, 2025.
Parry Earl Peppler, 69, of Eaton, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, in Eaton. He was born on April 9, 1956, in Greeley, Colorado, to Harvey and Ella (Miller) Peppler.
After graduating from Platte Valley High School in 1974, Parry attended Western State College, where he was a member of the university's wrestling team. He later continued his education at Northeastern Junior College before completing his degree at the University of Northern Colorado, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial Arts. During his college years, Parry met the love of his life, Marla Brinkman. On January 26, 1980, in Greeley, Colorado, they joined their lives in marriage, beginning a love story rooted in faith, love, and grace that would carry them through a lifetime.
Faith guided every part of Parry's life and was the foundation on which he built his family, work, and relationships. Raised farming alongside his father, he felt called to work the land and instill in his boys the same faith, work ethic, and values that had shaped his own life.
When Parry wasn't on a tractor, truck, or piece of farm equipment, he could often be found enjoying the outdoors. A true thrill-seeker, he had a passion for boating, off-roading, snowmobiling, riding his Harley, and most recently, pickleball. No matter the season, Parry found joy in sharing his love of adventure, friendly competition, and faith with those around him.
Parry is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Marla Peppler; his sons, Preston (Michelle) Peppler and Pryce (Brooke) Peppler; and his grandchildren, Bo, Carver, Max, Colden, and Ty. He is also survived by his parents-in-law, Marvin and Anne Brinkman; his brother-in-law, Mark Brinkman; and his niece, Sierra Brinkman. He also leaves behind a large extended family and many dear friends who will miss him greatly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Ella Peppler, and three grandchildren lost through miscarriage.
Memorial contributions in Parry's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Generations Church, in care of Lighthouse Family Mortuary, 3600 W. 22nd Street, Greeley, CO 80634. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.lfmlighthouse.com.

We are so saddened by the sudden loss of our dear friend Parry. He was always so much fun and brought joy to everyone he was around. He had a wonderful spirit, a love for life and was always kind. I admired his ability to connect with people. We will miss his smile, competitiveness, enthusiasm, his hoots, and most of all his friendship. We love you Parry.

Dear Marla and family,
So very sorry for yours and our loss! He was one in a million, a guy that loved Marla, life, people and Pickleball. His love was infectious to every person he came in contact with, you are so missed my friend.
We all are missing you on the courts, just not the same with out you. Loved your help, yells, smiles (grin/smirk when I would set you up for "the royal Parry slam"). Just all around wonderful attitude which made you fun to be around!!
Extreme love and hugs to each of you and yours, save a hug for me (quite the loss for all).

I recently moved to Colorado and started playing pickleball, Got to know you and Parry through that. What a great time with you both. He made me a better player. Always smiling, always happy. He instilled that in all that played with him. He will surely be missed. My condolences.

I am so sorry to hear this. Marla, my heart hurts for you. It was so awesome seeing you two on the pickleball court a few months ago. Parry had such an infectious smile. You two shared such a special love. I am reminiscing about all the fun times we shared together. Loved playing volleyball with you two. He will be truly missed. Love to you and your family

I am so sorry for your loss, Marla. I enjoyed getting to know Parry on the pickleball court. He was full of fun, kind to everyone, no matter their skill level, and always accommodated my left hand play. He will be missed on and off the court!

Deep condolences to the entire family and friends.
The first time I met Perry and Marla I was in awe of their love and respect for each other.
I immediately felt Perry was a larger than life sweet spirit, easy to talk to and very welcoming.
