Pat S. Espinoza Jr. passed from this life on October 7, 2024, in Celina, Texas. He was born to Patrosinio Espinoza Sr. and Juanita Espinoza (Savedra) in Roswell, New Mexico.
Pat attended St. Mary's Elementary School as well as Roswell Public School. Pat came to Bryan County in 1970 from Long Beach, California. Pat was a welder and did mechanical work as well. His family says that he was a " jack of all trades." Pat was a former deacon at Pigeon Roost Church and was of the Presbyterian faith. He enjoyed fishing, model airplanes, drawing, painting, or doing anything that he could let his creativity take over. Pat was an Army Veteran and Sergeant who served in the Korean War.
Pat is preceded in death by his parents, wives, Edith Mobley and Virginia Espinoza, son, Jeffrey Rice, two brothers, Rudy Espinoza and Paul Espinoza, and one sister, Arcee Bohannan.
Pat is survived by his son, Stephen Espinoza of Boswell, Oklahoma, daughter, Theresa Black of Milburn, Oklahoma, daughter, Marcella Maine and spouse Ray, of Sherman, Texas, son, Pat Espinoza III of Angelton, Texas, daughter, Juanita Mueller of Sherman, Texas, daughter, LaDonna Dunegan and spouse Danny of Sherman, Texas, daughter, Amy Amos of Duncan, Oklahoma, son, David Rice and spouse Traci of Greenville, Texas, 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
The family will have friends for visitation on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 6-8 P.M. at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel with Russell Stamphill officiating.
Interment will follow at Pigeon Roost Cemetery in Boswell, Oklahoma with Pat Black, Josh Parks, Derek Rice, Ryan Rice, Jayden Bookout & Austin Parks serving as pallbearers.
