Patrick McMillan

Pat McMillan, 71, passed away on Friday of November 14, 2025, at his home. He was born November 7, 1954, in Santa Monica, California, to Donald McMillan and Nan Su McMillan, spending his younger years here before moving to the South, where he met his wife Kay McMillan in Guntersville, Alabama. Their marriage surpassed over 50 years, building a family of one daughter and two sons.

Pat dedicated his adult life, of over 50 years, to Jesco Inc., specializing in construction. He applied his knowledge not just to his career but his everyday life; from building his second home that his family was raised in, to teaching his grandkids how to build bird houses and tinkering in his shop, while blaring 70’s rock. Although he was committed to his work, he spent the rest of what time he had empowering the fundamentals of hard work to his children.

Pat McMillan was a devoted father, a loyal friend, and steadfast provider. He built his life centered on family, hard work, and quiet strength. He was the kind of father whose love was felt not only in his words, but in every sacrifice, every long day of work, and every moment he made sure his family had what they needed. His devotion was constant-steady as the sun rising, unwavering even in difficult times. Rest easy, Dad. Your work here is done-but your love lives on.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Kay” McMillan; children, Jennifer Lyttle (Edward), Jason McMillan (Aubrey), Jon McMillan; former daughter inlaw, Wendy Furr; grandchildren, Steven McMillan (Taylor), Breeanna Banks, Carly Banks, Canah Banks, Drew McMillan, Ann Marie McMillan, Jacy McMillan, Gabe Carter, Zoey McMillan, Leah McMillan; great-grandchildren, Hayden Banks, Levi Whitely. He is also survived by his siblings, Karen Smith, Patricia Moorman, Seana Campbell, Brian McMillan, and three loving in-laws, Steven, Deborah, and Kim.

He was preceded in death by father, Donald McMillan; mother, Nan Su McMillan; brothers, Craig McMillan and Timothy McMillan; brother in law, Jack T. Reynolds.

Pat McMillan’s service will be an intimate grave-side gathering held within the weekend of November 21, 2025.
