Pat Millard

Pat Millard, age 91 of Dayton, passed away at Hospice Care Center in Chattanooga on Friday, February 20, 2026. He was born on August 6, 1934, in Pikeville, the son of the late Laurence and Addie (Dotson) Millard. He was also preceded death by his wife of 59 years, Julie Millard.

Pat lived in Dayton all of his life, proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines, later earning a bachelor's degree and building a career in quality control at Polyloom Corporation of America. He attended Garrison Baptist Church.

He survived by his two sons, James (Sandy) Millard of Dayton and Timothy Millard of Dayton; his three grandchildren, Megan (Aryan) Millard of Chattanooga, Allison Millard and James Patrick (Amanda) Millard, Jr., both of Dayton; and his great-grandson, Kayden Millard.

Funeral services for Pat will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026, with Rev. Mike Breeden officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his wife at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. with Military Honors.

The family is being cared for by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton, Tennessee, where they will receive friends at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026, until the time of the service.
