Pat was born on September 21, 1942, in Carroll County, TN. She worked in the Haywood County Clerk’s office in Brownsville for many years. Family was important to her, and she loved them dearly. She was especially blessed with loving her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid fan of Alabama Football. She loved her neighbors and will be remembered as one who loved doing things for other people. She loved visiting people, and she enjoyed brightening their day.
Pat is survived by her one son, Scott Roland (Sherry) of Northport, AL; one sister, Dianne Gambill of Brownsville, TN; grandchildren, Tyler Roland (Anna), Kaitlyn Wyatt (Chad Hunter), two step grandchildren, Caitlin Goodman (DL) and Kelsey Holland (Bin); great-grandchildren, Abi Jo Wyatt, Harper Roland, Maddie Faith Roland; six step great-grandchildren, Emma Goodman, Brooks Goodman, Aiden Junkin, Cash Holland, Luke Holland, Riley Newkirk; her special niece and nephew, Velvet and Joseph Farrow.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Owens; her parents, Claud and Wilma Pritchard Mitchell, and one sister, Katherine Dale Mitchell.
Pallbearers for the service are Tyler Roland, Joseph Farrow, Judson Farrow, Coy Moore, Keith Gambill and Jimmie Lee Smoot. Honorary Pallbearers are Joey Clayton and Chad Hunter Wyatt.
The family has requested memorials be made to the charity of the donors choice. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
