A funeral service for Fannie Patricia "Pat" Doty Seaton, 87, of Fort Worth, will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 4, 2025 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel, located at 512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX. Interment will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery, Cleburne with Jordan Duke, Derek Garcia, Ryan Bobo, Roy Hennesay, Corey Willmoth, and Henry Hernandez serving as pallbearers. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
Pat Seaton, a beloved member of her community, peacefully departed this life on August 24, 2025, in Saginaw, Texas. Born on July 30, 1938, in Cleburne, Texas, Pat lived a life marked by her passion for service and a child-like innocence that endeared her to many.
Throughout her life, Pat was known for her unwavering dedication to the safety and well-being of those around her. As a proud leader of the neighborhood watch group known as "Code Blue," she would often be seen wearing her vest and badge, a visual testament to her commitment to making her community a safer place. Her warm spirit was particularly cherished by children and babies, whom she loved dearly. Pat had a unique talent for ensuring that everyone felt cared for and secure, making her an integral part of the lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents, "Buddy" and Irene Doty; her daughter, Paula Hennesay; and her brother, Rudy Doty.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Kay Garcia and her husband Robert; her son, Kevin Duke and his wife Lori; her daughter, Starla Travis and her husband Jason; and her son-in-law, Troy Hennesay; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her deeply.
Her warmth and fierce loyalty will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. Pat's spirit will continue to shine through the lives she has positively impacted, and she will be greatly missed.
