Patrica Gentry Obituary
Patricia Ann Gentry, age 74 of Nixa, passed away July 28, 2025. She was born February 1, 1951 in Mississippi, the second oldest of four daughters of Thomas Edgar and Clara Mae (Bynum) Dunaway.
Patricia was a homemaker who loved spending time with her great grandkids and cooking for her family. Patricia enjoyed reading old western novels and going to casinos in her spare time.
Survivors include: her daughter, Kathleen Gentry; her grandchildren, William Kirby Mann, Heather Brittany Hill, Hunter Gentry and Dillon Gentry; and a sister, Galdys Lee McDaniel.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Merrill Travis Gentry in 2004; a son, Travis Earl Gentry; and two sisters, Gloria Gay Gentry and Mary Frances Howerton.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, August 4, 2025 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Ken Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:30 a.m. immediately before the funeral at the funeral home.
