Mrs. Amo passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Arrangements are under the care direction of Frary Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Pat is survived by her children; Kimberly Amo of Ogdensburg, NY and Debbie Amo and her spouse, Denise, of Saranac Lake, NY, Ricky Amo of Ogdensburg, NY: two daughters-in-law, Nikki Amo of Great Falls, MN and Vanessa Amo, of Pasadena, TX; and her siblings; Harry Wells Jr., Judy Dalton, and Donald Wells, all of Ogdensburg, NY. Her special niece Tammy Amo also survives her along with her grandsons; Timmy and his wife Kasie, Terrance, Michael, Andrew and his wife Jen, Zach and his wife Samantha and Jacob Amo and his wife Madison and granddaughter, Courtney Baker; and great grandsons; Aiden, Alec, Fennway, River, and Archer. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her.

Pat was predeceased by her parents; and her two sons, Terry Amo and Kenny Amo.

Pat was born on November 14, 1934, in Ogdensburg, NY. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Lucille (Burnham) Wells. Patricia attended local Ogdensburg Schools. On June 6th, 1953, Pat wed her beloved husband of 71 years, Richard Amo, while he was on leave from military service. He predeceased her on May 27th, 2024. Pat dedicated her life to service, working in the food service sector first at Ogdensburg City School District and later Ogdensburg Correctional Facility until her retirement in 1990.

Pat happiest moments were spent at her camp on the river, cooking favorite meals, working on crafts, and gathering with her family and cherished grandchildren. After retirement, she spent 28 joyful years living in Florida, a place where she embraced happy and relaxed life. Pat will be greatly missed by her family, to whom she gave endless love and support. Known for her generous heart, Pat was a force and her presence was the bond that held the family close, and her memory will remain a guiding light.

Memorial donations may be made in Pat's memory to support a future scholarship for a student pursuing a career in culinary arts.
