Patricia Lee Ascoop

I met Patty at Cook Jr. Middle School in Mrs. Mee's sewing class. When us 12 year old girls found it difficult to meet the high level of expected perfectionism in our sewing skills, Patty often quietly voiced what we were all suffering through, through her lighthearted jokes.
After high school, she married my brother's friend and became a friend of mine for the next 53 years.
I will forever miss her sweet smile and very compassionate heart.

I am very sad to read this today. Patty had the best smile. Always friendly when our paths crossed. My heart goes out to Patty and Leonard's family. I hope the family finds comfort knowing they are together again. May they both rest in peace.
