Patricia (Patty) Lee Ascoop beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and nana, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025. She was born to Russ and Annis Baker on June 4, 1953. Patty grew up alongside her sisters, Barbara and Audrey, with whom she shared countless memories and an unbreakable bond. Patty was a devoted mother to Brian (Jess) Ascoop and Kelly (Daniel) Eames. Her children were her pride and joy, she loved them beyond measure. But her greatest title and her biggest joy, was being "Nana" to her five precious grandchildren: Austin (Kyla), Haley, Madison, Gracie, and McKenzie. They were her heart, her happiness, and each one holding a special piece of her heart. Patty shared a lifetime of love with her soulmate and love of her life, her husband, Leonard. After a year and a half of missing him, she's reunited with him in heaven and finally gets to be by his side once again. Knowing Patty and Leonard are together again brings comfort to the family and friends she leaves behind, even as their hearts ache for her presence here. Together again at last, two hearts, one forever love. You're home now, with Dad, watching over all of us with love. Patty is survived by her children, Brian and Kelly, 5 grandchildren, sisters Audrey Baker and Barbara Krebs and a lifetime of friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Yesterday

I am very sad to read this today. Patty had the best smile. Always friendly when our paths crossed. My heart goes out to Patty and Leonard's family. I hope the family finds comfort knowing they are together again. May they both rest in peace.
