Patricia Ann Bennett

Mrs. Patricia Ann Bennett, age 70 years old, of Folkston, Ga. (formerly Pearson) passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, Ga. following an extended illness.  She was born on July 8, 1953, in Douglas, Ga., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willie and Seyene Spivey Anderson.  Mrs. Bennett made her home here where she worked as a dairy farm worker with Wright Farms.  She enjoyed watching her tv shows, going to yard sales, fishing and especially spending time with her grandkids.  Mrs. Bennett is preceded in death along with her parents, by her son; Roman Bennett, granddaughter; Tiffany Bennett, sister; Regina Peach, and 3 brothers; David, Raymond, and Charles Anderson.

Survivors include:

2 Daughters:  Stacy Lindsay and husband Terry of Folkston, Ga.

                       Tracy Bennett of Axson, Ga.

Son:  Michael Bennett of Douglas, Ga.

2 Brothers:  Perry Anderson of Axson, Ga.

                    Terrell Anderson of Milledgeville, Ga.

2 Sisters:  Bonnie McGovern and husband Barney Ray of Pearson, Ga.

                 Dorothy Hall and husband Ronnie of Pearson, Ga.

6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Graveside services for Mrs. Bennett were held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Sunnyside Cemetery with Rev. J.A. Anderson officiating. Special musical selections included, “Dancing in the Sky”, “Jealous of the Angels”, and “Go Rest High” all rendered by cd.  The interment followed in Sunnyside Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers were:  Adam Lee, Barry Peach, Travis Peach, Christopher McGovern, Timothy Anderson, Wade Anderson, and Keith Anderson.

Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
