Patricia Borden

Patricia "Pat" Borden, 94, beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully at home on February 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

 Born on March 3, 1930, in Monticello, Maine, Patricia dedicated her life to creating a warm and loving home for her husband of 65 years, Calvin, who predeceased her in 2019, and their two daughters. Patricia was the heart of the Borden clan and her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. 

As a mother of two, grandmother of four, and great-grandmother of seven, Patricia instilled strong values and religious beliefs in her family. Her home was a refuge of prayer and support for both family and friends. Patricia’s house was the gathering place for Sunday dinners, holiday celebrations, and birthday parties. She remembered every anniversary, birthday, and important date in her children's and grandchildren's lives, never failing to send a card or make a call. Patricia showed her love through cooking and her homemade rolls were legendary. 

She is survived by her daughters Susan and Deborah; her grandchildren Victoria, Robert, Nadya, and Calvin; and seven great-grandchildren.

 A Memorial Service will be held at 10AM on March 21, 2025,  at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 172 King St., Boscawen NH. Burial will follow at 12PM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen NH. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, a cause close to Patricia’s heart.
