Patricia Anna Buie “Granny”, age 87 of St. Paul’s, North Carolina was born September 25,1937 to the late Lawrence Marley and Wilma Beatrice Buie. She departed from this life to her heavenly home on December 7, 2024.
In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Kistler Buie, brothers Martin Lynn Stephens, Bobby Dewayne Stephens, Craig Stephens, sister Donna Stephens, grandson William Wright, Jr. and great-grandson Emmit Wright
Patricia was known as “Granny” to many people who have had the privilege of knowing her. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and church family at Tolarsville Baptist Church all of whom she loved dearly. She lived her life according to her faith in Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. May her life be a testament to others.
Patricia leaves to cherish her memories and mourn her passing, one son, Paul Buie (Julie) and one daughter Susan Buie; grandchildren Jordan Roberts (Kate), James Roberts, Sarah Martinez (CW) and Stephen Wright (Kelsey); great-grandchildren Damien Ellis, Chloe Martinez, Leilani Wright and Raylan Wright; brothers Raymond "Tootie" Stephens(Faye), Lawrence Stephens (Bonnie) , Ronald Stephens, sister-in-law Diane Stephens and a special nephew David Stephens; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In-lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that donations in her honor be made to St Pauls United Methodist Church Community Food Pantry (St. Paul’s, NC) or Tolarsville Baptist Church missions.
