Patricia Lou Burdock

Patricia Lou Burdock, 76, of Elk Garden, WV, died Thursday, October 16, 2025 at her residence while under the care of WVU Medicine Hospice.
Born on April 4, 1949 in Keyser, WV, she was a daughter of the late Floyd Cosner and Lucille Mae (Durst) Cosner Binkley. She also was preceded in death by her husband, George Carroll Burdock on October 9, 2006 and by a brother, Randy Cosner.
Mrs. Burdock was a loving homemaker, mother and grandmother. Her life revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren, that she absolutely adored. She enjoyed doing all of the things that a homemaker does, especially baking and cooking for her family.
Surviving are her three children, Sherry Tichnell and husband Rusty of Elk Garden, Timothy Burdock and wife Megan of Romney, WV and Thomas Burdock and wife Cassandra of Elk Garden; eight grandchildren, Miranda Paugh, Hailey Burdock, Elijah Burdock, Gabriel Burdock, Jacob Burdock, Abigail Burdock, Benjamin Burdock and Shane Martin; a brother, Robin Cosner and wife Michelle of Tennessee and a sister, Judy Duling of Elk Garden.
At Mrs. Burdock's request, services will be private for the family. Inurnment will be in the Nethken Hill Cemetery, Elk Garden.
The Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Keyser, is in charge of the arrangements.
