Patricia Calvert Obituary

Published by Legacy on Feb. 17, 2026.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Patricia Dian Calvert, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Born on April 26, 1941, in Baltimore, Maryland, Patricia peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at her residence in Glen Burnie, Maryland. She was 84 years old.
Patricia was a dedicated homemaker whose love and devotion to her family were unparalleled. She was a former longtime resident of Pasadena, Maryland, where she spent 75 cherished years before moving to Glen Burnie nine years ago. A proud alumna of Glen Burnie High School, class of 1959, Patricia found joy in creating a loving home for her family and shared her talents in cake decorating and needlepoint with those she loved. An avid reader, she always found solace and adventure within the pages of a book.
Patricia's steadfast faith guided her life, and she was deeply involved with Catholic Charities, dedicating countless hours to fostering babies and supporting those in need. Alongside her late husband, Franklin Calvert, she was actively involved in community service through organizations like the Rotary and the Historical Society of Anne Arundel County, often using her talents to decorate for fundraising events.
Patricia is survived by her loving children: Craig Calvert (Isabella), Jeffrey Calvert (Laura), and Christopher Calvert (Lisa). She was the cherished sister of Cindy Melocik, Margaret Houck, Mark Jordan, Randy O'Leary, and Elise O'Leary. Her legacy lives on in her adored grandchildren: Heather Calvert, Maria Cristina Mann, Alexandra Miller, Jeffrey Calvert, and Zachary Calvert, as well as her precious great-grandchildren: James Miller, Maverick Mann, Zoey Calvert, and Theodore Mann.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Franklin Calvert, her father, Carroll Francis O'Leary, her mother, Margaret Katherine Jordan, and her siblings: Christine Lurtzan and Jay Jordan.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Patricia's life at a Funeral Mass on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 9:45 am at St. Jane Frances de Chantal in Pasadena, Maryland. The Mass will be officiated by Steve Hook. Prior to the Mass, visitation will be held at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland, on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and again from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Patricia's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Catholic Charities, organizations close to her heart.
Patricia will be remembered for her kind spirit, generous heart, and unwavering faith. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
