Patricia Carson Obituary
Patricia passed knowing how much she was dearly loved surrounded by her very large family who remained by her side with hearts breaking, sharing the love and comforting her as well as each other as she fought her battle to the very end.
Patricia married Robert Carson July 31,1976 at the Old Mystic Methodist Church. Over the next 50 years, she and Robert raised three children. Lisa (Brisson) Duca (spouse John), Michael Brisson (spouse Robin) and David Brisson (spouse Rachel). She was blessed with many grandchildren, as well as great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. All knew they meant the world to her and the feeling was mutual. She never missed being present at any event to show support. She is also survived by her brother Ronald Lavigne and family; and the family of Richard Lavigne, who predeceased her. So many others may know her as the assistant always with a smile who dedicated 35 years of her life (rarely, if ever, missing a day) at Family Orthodontic Care in Norwich. Forever in our hearts, so many cherished memories, never to be forgotten. She will be dearly missed.
Heartfelt thanks goes out from the entire family to the Backus Hospital staff for their compassionate care; and in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to either St. Jude’s or Shriner's Children's hospitals.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12, at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Road, Uncasville. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.

Grandma, I can't even begin to wrap my head around you not being here anymore. The grief hits so much harder knowing I'm a 1000 miles away ... I wish I could have said goodbye or gave you one last hug . I wish you could have met my daughter and my new son on the way. I miss celebrating summers at grams house and taking the boat out. I miss you coming to my games and cheering me in from the crowds .I miss your cupcake and brownies I know it's silly but they were really good. I miss Christmas when all the families would be able to get together and spend the holiday and the awesome train set you would put out and the only time we were allowed in the dining room or living room was for opening our presents. I miss the smell of your house or playing in your makeup when I would sleep over. I wish you were here... I'm sorry I wasn't there to say goodbye I'll never be able to get over that..

We have had the great fortune to be neighbors to Pat and Bob for almost 50 years. We have watched them lovingly raise their wonderful children and enjoy their many grandchildren. Even before we became neighbors, Irene had the pleasure of meeting Pat while getting her braces at Dr. Lowney´s office. Pat was always so pleasant and professional. Pat was an amazing person! She was kind,giving,an awesome cook and a very hard worker! She had the voice of an angel and now she is a heavenly Angel! We will miss her more than words can say!
