Nobles Funeral Home announces the funeral service for Mrs. Patricia Lamb Carter, age 85, who passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Community Hospice in Vidalia. Mrs. Carter was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County and a loving wife, mother, and granny.
Mrs. Carter is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Gladys Lamb; one great grandchild, Carter Clance; and eleven siblings.
Surviving is her husband of sixty-eight years, Billy Carter; four children, Randy Carter (Bonnie), Terry Carter Horne, Joey Carter, and Jeffrey Carter (Krista); six grandchildren, Brandi Sharpe (Jamie), Kevin Horne (Emily), Ryan Horne, Sandy Carter (Patrick), Maggie Carter, and Sophie Carter; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. from Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tommy Kelly, Reverend Junior Whiteside, and Reverend Joe Goodard officiating.
Interment will follow in the Friendship Congregational Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at Nobles Funeral Home Chapel.
Active Pallbearers are Kevin Horne, Chris Stone, Freddie Stone, Hayden Carter, Patrick Carter, and Ryan Horne.
