Patricia (Patti) L. Cureton of Georgetown Kentucky, born May 24 in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late Albert Eugene Cheek and Virginia Jane Hager Cheek. Passed away peacefully, November 10, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Patti was a Tax Accountant for more than 40 years by profession, but to her clients she was more like family; she helped everyone she could regardless of ability to pay. As inflation crept in, her prices changed very little over 40 years, and she could cite tax law with an encyclopedic like accuracy and understanding. Patti had an artistic side, painting murals and landscapes in her earlier years.

Patti was preceded in death by her sons Arlis Wesley "Wessy" Cureton and Shawn Jason Mosley, as well as her brothers Billy Cheek Sr and William Paul Cheek.

She is survived and greatly missed by her daughters Alisha (Myron) Smith of Camden-Wyoming Delaware, Jennifer (Alex) Stroup of Seaford Delaware, and Ashley (James) Beasley of Lexington Kentucky, her son Chris Palmer of Towson Maryland, a hoard of 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, honorary daughter Amy Stadnyk of Lawrenceburg Kentucky, as well as brother Richard Cheek and lots of nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life will be held at Clark Legacy Center, Frankfort Kentucky on November 28th at 3 o'clock for close family and friends. Donations in Patti's honor can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Colorectal Cancer Alliance.
