My Grandmother was a angel, she'd help you even if she couldn't help herself. I watched as she volunteered herself for years at the food pantry, she held my hand after I cried or was upset about anything. She would do anything in her power to make you smile or laugh. She understood bad days and struggled with her own but never once let you see it. She loved to go on trips with my grandfather anywhere as long as they were together they were happy, it was weird seeing them so in love after so many years together. She taught me that being with someone is never easy you just gotta work through the bad days. I learned to cook from her and she showed me how to make corn in a way that I would eat it. She'd make me strawberry or chocolate milk if I asked, She showed me patience and understanding. She taught me to hold on to faith even when I didn't have any to stand on. I'm happy God gave me the 23 almost 24 years I've had with her. I love and miss you.
