Patricia Irene Delaney

Patricia Irene Delaney, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories. She was born on April 9, 1950, in Port Angeles, Washington, to Nona Rains and Gene Curren.

She married Gary Delaney, with whom she shared a loving partnership, and together they raised their son, Brent Blakemore who is married to Yvonne Blakemore. Patricia was a proud and caring mother, whose warmth and guidance shaped the lives of those closest to her.

She dedicated many years of service to Oregon State Hospital before retiring, where her work reflected her compassion and commitment to helping others. Outside of her career, Patricia found joy in the natural world. She loved visiting the ocean and the mountains, places that brought her peace and inspiration.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Gary. Though she endured this loss she continued with grace, strength, kindness, and love.

She is survived by her son, Brent (Yvonne) Blakemore; her grandson, Brice Blakemore; granddaughter, Grace Placencio; great-granddaughter Marley Espinoza and her siblings, Gene Kern, Joan Knapp, Bobby Whitehall, and Sonny Whitehall; and her beloved dogs, Shaboo and Cody, who were her faithful companions.
