Patricia (Pat) DeLoach, age 86, passed away on the evening of March 9, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. Born Patricia Ann Hammock on November 29, 1937 in Abanda, AL, to Parents George and Ertis Hammock, she was a life-long resident of the Valley area. She was retired from West Point Pepperell where she served for many years in multiple capacities. She was a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She was a very active member at Lanett Congregational Christian Church, where she served as the elementary Sunday School teacher for over 18 years without missing a single Sunday until she retired in 2019. Pat was passionate about her Lord and Savior and was a good witness to those she came into contact with.
Pat was also very passionate about her family. She was an amazing Mom and an excellent cook. She was the perfect example of what a mother should be. She always put others needs in front of her own. As amazing of a mother as she was, she may have been an even more amazing Grandmother "Mama Pat" to her three grandsons Brady Spradlin (19), Bo DeLoach (16) and Jack DeLoach (7). Her grandsons were her pride and joy and she was always quick to heap praise upon them and show off their photos when she could. She always liked to say that she knew that she was loved by her family.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents George and Ertis Hammock. She is survived by her sister Peggy Lockett (Jimmy), her daughter Lisa Spradlin (Joe) and her son Larry DeLoach (Lauren) along with her three grandsons Brady Spradlin, Bo DeLoach and Jack DeLoach. The family will accept flowers or donations to Lanett Congregational Christian Church in her memory.
Visitation will be held at Lanett Congregational Christian Church Tuesday, March 12th, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. EDT to 7:00 P.M. EDT. Services will be held at Lanett Congregational Christian Church on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024 at1:00 P.M. EDT.
