Doris Nell (Brasher) DeLoach, 97 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Wentworth Place in Magnolia.
Doris was born July 19, 1928, in the Milner Community in Columbia County, Arkansas to Ernest and Una (Eads) Brasher.
Doris was born and raised in the Milner Community and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. For more than 60 years, Doris worked as a waitress, serving generations of families in Magnolia with a warm smile and a kind word. Many will remember her best from the 66 Kitchen, where she seemed to know everyone who walked through the door.
To her family and friends, she was lovingly known as "Memaw." She enjoyed fishing, getting lost in a good book or word search, and browsing every aisle of the local Dollar General stores. In her later years, one of her greatest joys was going "riding around" with one of her children - an outing she looked forward to every week and treasured deeply. She was quick to laugh, easy to love, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Her family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Wentworth Place for the care and kindness they gave Memaw.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Ollie DeLoach; daughter Rita Phillips; son Paul DeLoach; 3 grandsons, Brent Neal DeLoach, Marc Gresham, and Scott DeLoach; 3 sisters and 1 brother.
Doris is survived by two daughters, Sandy Grimmett and Debbie Barker; son Joe (Stephanie) DeLoach; grandchildren, Todd DeLoach, Kenny (Mandy) Barker, Doug (Sarah) Barker, Tara (CT) Almand, Alden (Anna) DeLoach, and Connor (Elise) DeLoach; great grandchildren, Ashlyn DeLoach, Abby Padilla, Avery Barker, Sade Barker, Blake Barker, Britain Barker, Bayler Barker, Dixie Almand, Daisy Almand, and Mack Almand; stepson, David DeLoach; daughter-in-law Mary DeLoach; and two sisters, Hope Davis and Janis Terrell.
Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc in Magnolia with a graveside service to follow at 2:30 pm at Magnolia Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Eric Goble officiating.
