Patricia Ann Dowes

Patricia Ann Dawes, born February 27, 1954, passed away peacefully October 19, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was the cherished daughter of the late Robert Jones and Martha Kennedy Jones.
Patricia lived a life full of warmth, joy, and simple pleasures. She found happiness in cooking for her family, swimming in the ocean, and spending time in her favorite coastal town, Morehead City. She loved her jewelry and her 1994 Nissan truck, which she enjoyed cruising around in and loved her chihuahua, Sergeant.
Above all, Patricia adored her family. She was a devoted wife to William Dawes, her husband of 52 years, and a loving mother to her son, Robert Dawes, and loved her grandchildren, Grayson Dawes and Dylan Dawes, who brought her endless joy.
Patricia is also survived by her three sisters: Diane Patterson, Debbie Carpenter, and Doris Moore.
She was preceded in death by her three brothers: Ronnie Jones, James Jones, and Charles Jones.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M Monday, October 27, 2025, at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. (1P.M-2P.M) Burial to follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
