Patricia A. Doyle

Of Forest Hills, age 69, died on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.

Beloved wife of Robert A. Doyle for 45 years.

Loving and devoted mother of Kathleen Doyle of Pittsburgh and Lauren Doyle of CA.

Sister of Walter Cunningham, Jr.

Patricia was born on the first day of summer (June 21) in 1951, daughter of the late Walter, Sr. and late Susan (Gresock) Cunningham.

Her light shone brightly but faded far too soon.

She was a 1969 graduate of Bethel Park High School and attended Denison University in Ohio.

Before becoming a fulltime mother, Patricia worked in the Accounting Office of Mesta Machine. After raising her daughters, she became an office manager for a medical practice.

In her spare time, Patricia became a renowned fabric artist as she handcrafted quilts and costumes. Some of her costumes were ethnic in style specifically made for the Junior Tamburitzans.

Patricia was quick-witted, and a brilliant spitfire whose legacy will live through Kathleen and Lauren.

Friends and family are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial in St. Maurice Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 2001 Ardmore Blvd., Forest Hills, (15221) on Saturday at 10 a.m.

Patricia will be laid to rest in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
