Patricia A. "Patsy" Flanagan (Screpesi), 83, of Wyomissing, has joined the angels, entering heaven on December 1st, 2025, surely adding a sprinkle of gold glitter as she arrived. Born in Reading, she was the youngest daughter of the late Joseph and Stella (Zachowski) Screpesi. She was the wife of the late Robert M Flanagan, happily married for 56 years before Robert passed in 2021. Patsy is survived by her two children, Michael Flanagan, husband of Megan (Chambers) Flanagan, and Kellie (Flanagan) Fonte, wife of Pasquale Vincent Fonte Jr. To her six grandchildren - Patrick, Joseph, Kailey, Stefania, Juliette, and Patrice - she was lovingly known as "Fashion Nan," a name that perfectly captured her spirit, style, and the joy she brought into their lives.
She was predeceased by her beloved grandson, Pasquale Robert Fonte.; her sisters Marcine Weisbord and Mary Ostrowski; her brother Michael Screpesi; brothers-in-laws Richard Siegfried and Robert Hafner; and sisters-in-laws Jean Philbin and Sally McDonnell.
She is also survived by her sister, Anna May Siegfried; sisters-in-law Margaret Hafner; brothers-in-laws Raymond Weisbrod and Edward Ostrowski; and by many nieces and nephews who adored her.
She attended Reading High School and Bryland Beauty School. In addition to being a devoted mother, Patsy was a bold and ambitious businesswoman. She established her own marketing agency, Promotions by Pat, and built a reputation as a strong, accomplished, and successful woman. Her hard work allowed her to spend her winters on the beaches of Fort Lauderdale - it was truly her happy place, perfectly fitting for the fashionista she was.
Patsy treasured time spent with those she loved. She enjoyed happy hours with her friends, cherished lunches with her cousins, and took great pride in being a member of the Screpesi family. A devoted Catholic, she held her faith close to her heart and was a longtime member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, where she greatly valued the community and the people who worshipped alongside her.
No matter the occasion, Patsy made an entrance "dressed to the nines", gracing every room with her signature style and flawless fashion. In true Patsy fashion, we welcome everyone to come on Friday dressed in gold and glitter or bright colors. Let's sparkle and shine to celebrate Patsy.
A visitation will take place on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Holy Rosary Church from 10:00-11:00 a.m., followed immediately by a Catholic Mass.
