Patricia Flinchbaugh, 90, of
Marion, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, March 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born March 10, 1935 in
Marion, Ohio to the late Norman D. and M. Lucile (Landon) Titus.
Patricia graduated in 1953 from Marion Harding High School. She then married the love of her life, Ralph LeRoy Flinchbaugh on May 7, 1954; they shared 69 wonderful years together before his passing on February 20, 2024.
She is survived by and will missed by her children, Pamela (Michael) Parks of
Marion, Ohio, Michael (Valerie) Flinchbaugh of
Marion, Ohio, her grandchildren, Amy (Michael) Moran of Powell, Ohio, Katelin (Brian) Lee of Delaware, Ohio, Bradley (Samantha) Flinchbaugh of North Olmstead, Ohio and her great grandchildren, Avery Moran, Aiden Moran, Ansley Moran, Conner Lee, Emmitt Lee, Elliot Flinchbaugh, Smith Flinchbaugh and numerous extended family members and friends.
Patricia was a devoted member of Prospect Street United Methodist Church, where her faith was an important part of her daily life. She was especially known for sharing her musical talents as the church pianist, blessing countless services and gatherings with her heartfelt playing. Her music brought comfort, joy, and inspiration to her church family for many years.
A woman of many talents, Patricia found great happiness in the simple and meaningful rhythms of home life. She loved baking-specially making fresh bread that filled her home with warmth and wonderful aromas. She also took pride in canning the fruits of her labor, preserving family favorites to be enjoyed throughout the year. Patricia enjoyed raising chickens and ducks, tending to them with the same care and dedication she gave to everything she did.
Above all else, Patricia cherished her family. She delighted in spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Whether gathered around the table for a home-cooked meal, celebrating holidays, or sharing stories and laughter, she treasured every moment. Her home was a place of welcome, comfort, and unconditional love.
Patricia will be remembered for her gentle spirit, strong faith, generous heart, and the lasting legacy of love she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to thank the DeWolfe Place and staff for their wonderful care of Patricia during this difficult time. The family also thanks the staff of Gentiva Hospice for their care during her final days.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 6, 2026 from 10:00am to 11:30am at Prospect Street United Methodist Church, 185 S. Prospect St.,
Marion, Ohio 43302. The funeral service will begin after visitation at 11:30am at the church with Pastor Josh Freshour officiating. Burial will take place at Chapel Heights memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wesley Scholarship in care of Prospect Street United Methodist Church.
