Patricia (Patty) A. Gilpin, 86, loving mother and MeeMeeMaw, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. She passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by her cherished family.

Patty was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and remained a lifelong Cardinals fan. She married her high school sweetheart, Daniel F. Tueth, and built a life as a proud Navy wife-supporting her husband and daughters, Colleen, Mary Ann, and Kathy, through three tours in Vietnam. Patty was the family's rock, taking on every challenge and turning it into a life lesson. She was the counselor, champion, cheerleader, and soft place to land.

She brought these same gifts of compassion and strength to her work with the Navy Alcohol and Safety Action Program (NASAP), where she offered courage, hope, and guidance to service members battling addiction. It was there that she met her second husband, Program Coordinator LCDR George W. Gilpin. Together, they shared 13 beautiful years of service and love before his passing, and welcomed another daughter, Lianne, into the family.

Patty was a proud friend of Bill W. and Dr. Bob for 51 years, helping countless individuals find a better path. The number of lives changed by her unwavering example of courage, strength, and hope is immeasurable.

She had a deep love for her garden, often found with her hands in the dirt or sitting on her deck singing along with the birds. Indoors, she enjoyed crocheting, reading Stephen King and Nora Roberts novels, cooking for her family, watching scary movies, and cheering on the New Orleans Saints and the Alabama Crimson Tide. A passionate fan of car racing, she fulfilled a lifelong dream this year by attending the Jack Link's 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, proudly supporting her favorite NASCAR driver, Chase Elliott. She could also be found regularly at Five Flags Speedway cheering on Bubba Pollard.

Patty lived a full and beautiful life of service-to her higher power, her community, her family, and to anyone in need of a helping hand. She will be missed more than words can express by those she leaves behind:

· Daughters: Colleen (Dave) Tueth-Dunseath of Nashville, TN; Mary Ann (Larry) Rouse of Jacksonville, FL; Kathy (Randy) Rich; Lianne (Janene) Ellis; and Susan (Ricky) Hendrix of Pensacola, FL

· Grandchildren: Daniel and Ashley Rouse; Shandy (Luvonte') Rhines; Wesley Bush; Patrick and Ben Rich; Jim (Tammy) Hendrix; Rachel (Michael) Hendrix-Lockwood; Tim (Julianne) Ellis-Amusten; Ousten Ellis and several great grandchildren.

· Nieces and Nephews: Judy, Jean, Joyce, Sharon, and Bill

Patty was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Michael Tueth; her sisters, Mary, Rosemary and Sis; and her parents, Lawrence and Mary.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 7 p.m. at Family Funeral & Cremations, 5627 North Davis Hwy., Pensacola, FL 32503 Visitation and Funeral Mass will follow on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Little Flower Catholic Church, 6495 Lillian Hwy., Pensacola, FL 32506.
