Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bea Kirchner; her brothers, Samuel, Hank Jr., and Bob; and her beloved husband, David Gilpin.
She is survived by her children: James Horn and wife Cari, Samuel Horn and wife Tammy, Kimberly Hourigan, and Tammy Kennedy and husband Billie. Louise was blessed with ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy.
Louise loved Jesus deeply and found great comfort and community at Shalimar United Methodist Church. Her faith guided her throughout her life, and she lived with grace, compassion, and a generous heart.
A graveside service and burial will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida, on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 11:30 a.m.
Louise will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, but her family takes comfort knowing she is at peace, reunited with David, and in the presence of her Savior.
