William "Crazy Horse" "Wild Bill" P. Gilpin, 63, of McDonald, North Fayette Township, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in Magee Hospital.

Bill was born on July 23, 1962 in Sturgeon, a son of Dolores Gilpin.

Bill was an equipment operator for Wagner Development. He truly loved working and took great pride in his work. Outside of his job, Bill enjoyed fishing and mushroom picking, he also enjoyed picking berries and making homemade jam. He took pride in having a nice lawn and was always feeding the local wildlife.

Wild Bill truly lived up to his nickname. He was always a treat to be around and you never knew what you would end up getting into with Bill. He had an adventurous spirit about him. Bill was always looking for a way to make the people he loved smile and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was a hard-working man and instilled that value on his two daughters. Bill lost the love of his life, Linda, in 2011 and raised their two girls, Jamie and Billie who survive. He was the best Dad they could have ever asked for. Bill showed up time and time again for them and left them with so many special memories to cherish. He was one of a kind and surely will be missed.

Surviving are his children, Jamie (Harley) Gilpin Davidson, Billie Gilpin, and Eric (Tiffany) Bowland, grandchildren, Oliver Morgan, Linda Davidson, Benjamin Davidson, Brianna Bowland and Ian Bowland, along with his siblings.

Along with his mother, Bill is preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda, Mozuch Gilpin, who was waiting for him with open arms.

All arrangements are private and entrusted to Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Ave., McDonald (724-693-2800).
