Born on October 21, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio, Patricia's vibrant spirit and unwavering kindness touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Patricia was an extraordinary woman whose giving nature marked her character. She graduated from Julienne High School and carried the values she learned throughout her life. The role of homemaker brought her immense joy and fulfillment, allowing her to create a warm and loving environment for her family. She was truly a good loving person, deeply devoted to her family and friends.
A passionate enthusiast of garage and estate sales, Patricia had an eye for finding hidden treasures that brought delight not only to her but also to those around her. Her enthusiasm for these outings was infectious, often turning a simple errand into a cherished adventure shared with her husband.
Patricia's proudest accomplishment was marrying her wonderful husband, Alfred Gresco, on March 25, 1988. Their union was a testament to love, partnership, and mutual support that lasted for 34 beautiful years. Together, they created a loving home filled with warmth, laughter, and countless memories.
Patricia is survived by her stepchildren, Leslie (Mike) Kersey, Sandy (Donnie) Gresco, and Mark Gresco, who remember her fondly for her nurturing love and steadfast support. She also leaves behind her beloved sisters, Barbara Heller, Susie Jones, Judi Perkey, and Kathy Tackett, and her sister-in-law, Sue Carter. Patricia's cherished legacy will live on in her nephews, Brian Martin and Shawn Martin, and her niece, Amanda Purkey, along with her niece, Ashley Jones who spent every day with Pat during the last few months.
Patricia was predeceased by her loving husband, Alfred Gresco, as well as her parents, Ernest and Martha Langenhorst. She was also preceded in death by her older sister, Mary Ann Martin, and her younger brother, Ernie "Butch" Langenhorst. Their memory lives on in the hearts of those who were privileged to know them.
