Mary GRESCO Obituary
Age 86, died peacefully on April 19, 2022. Beloved spouse of the late Robert "Boots" Gresco; loving mother of Tama (Charles) and Vaune (Dennis); daughter of Ludwig and Anna (Bezilla) Magensky; sister of late Gertrude (Haney) Dugan, late Anna Mae (George) Chincharick, late Dolores (Nick) Mohnal, late Elizabeth (Tony) Cutezo, late John (Mary) Magensky and Raymond (Marjorie) Magensky; daughter-in-law of John and Mary Gresco; sister-in-law of late Edward (Theresa), late Joseph (Helen), and Barbara (George) Russin; also survived by many God-children, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Employed at Sears Southgate/McKinley for 37 years, parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul, and a member of Erie County 4-H Alumni. No prior visitation. Elaine donated her body to UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Services. She helped others throughout her entire life and hopes to continue to do this through these studies. Special thanks to all the caregivers who helped Elaine. You were a blessing to Elaine and our family. We will be forever grateful. A Memorial Mass for both Robert and Elaine will be offered on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 10 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Church, 6441 Seneca Street, PO Box 290, Springbrook, NY 14140 or NFS (Extension Foundation - 4-H) 3 Springbrook Shores, Elma, NY 14059. God Bless America!

I am so sorry to hear of this. I have fond memories of my days at 4-H with Mrs. Gresco and Vaune learning to sew and cook; she was the encouragement I needed to enter items at the Erie County Fair. My thoughts and prayers are with Vaune and the rest of the family.
