Patricia C. Halterman, 91, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Pat was born on September 19, 1934, in Boston, Massachusetts to Edwin and Loraine (Nowlin) Crosby.
Pat was a school bus driver for over 40 years, and in addition to driving for the school district, she was a tour bus driver for Grey Lines Tours. In addition to driving, Pat was a beauty consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics for many years. Being raised in the Northeast, Pat was a huge Boston Red Sox and New England Patriot fan. She was a great cook and was known as the “casserole queen”, she loved to travel and was ready to leave at a moments notice. She had many passions, but her true joy came from being “Grammie” to her grandchildren and “Mayme” to her great-grandsons. Her love, laughter, and humor will be missed.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband Albert G. “Big Al” Halterman, daughter Alicia Halterman, and her parents Edwin and Loraine Crosby. She is survived by her daughters Janine (Kyle) Halterman-Scott and Candy (Johnny) Owens; grandchildren Kelsey, Kyle, and Peyton (Kirsten); great-grandsons Beckham and Brewer and numerous extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 4pm-8pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home. A second visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 12pm-2pm with a service to begin at 2pm in the Chapel at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
