Patricia Healy

90, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Grace Barker Health, Warren. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and MaryAnn (Dolan) Healy. She was the sister of the late Charles J. Healy and John F. Healy.
Patricia was an educator for most of her life, teaching at Salve Regina College, Providence College, Rhode Island College, St. Mary's Academy, Bayview and St. Matthew's School. She also was Director of Special Education for the Newport School Department from 1971 – 1987 and a consultant for the Jamestown School Department, Tavares Pediatric Center and Cornerstone School. Patricia was formerly a nun with the Sisters of Mercy.
Patricia is survived by her loving nieces and nephews, Michael Healy of Cranston, Marianne Fougere of Cranston, Margaret Mary Healy of Johnston, Elizabeth Leitao of Warwick and Sheila Healy of Warwick; great-nieces and great-nephews, John F. Healy, Patrick Drury, Caitlyn and Rachel Cornell, Meaghan Healy and Sydney Fougere. She was predeceased by her dear friend Janice Cowsell, with whom she lived for many years.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. George Maronite Church, Cranston. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS will be held on Saturday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 am.
