Patricia Johnson Obituary
Whiteville, NC: Mrs. Patricia Welton Johnson, age 88, of Stephenson Road, Angier passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Universal Healthcare in Lillington, NC surrounded by her loving family. Memorial Services will be held 3:00PM Thursday, August 31, 2023 at the Rose and Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Roger Korten.
Mrs. Johnson was born on May 26, 1935 in China to the late Felix Burwell and Lelia Frances Gardener Welton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Johnson; brother, Richard Welton; son-in-law, Patrick Jon Brozowski, and nephew, Stephen Welton. Mrs. Johnson retired from American Express where she served as an administrative assistant. She enjoyed playing the piano, working in her yard, arts and crafts, and loving on her cats.
Survivors include her children, Virginia Page Resseguie of Staten Island, New York, Elizabeth Nelson Brozowski of Angier, Katherine Zigmont of Andover, MA, Anne Resseguie of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Lelia Brozowski, Tasha Brozowski, Grace DellaCroce, Kelly DellaCroce, Liz Dixon, Alex Zigmont; great-grandson, Robbie Dixon; sisters, Rebecca Sumlin and Janet Gleeson, and niece, Deirdre Russell.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 2:00PM to 2:45PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson prior to the service.
