Patricia (Pat) Ann Johnson, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, was born on October 14, 1946, in Leeds, Alabama. As a child, her family relocated to Trenton, New Jersey, following her father Sammie Lang Jr.'s military reassignment.
Driven by a deep desire to provide a better life for her children, Pat pursued her professional dream and enrolled in the prestigious Saint Francis School of Nursing. She graduated at the top of her class in 1979 as a registered nurse. Pat went on to work at Trenton Psychiatric Hospital, where she remained until her medical retirement. Her natural warmth, compassion, and empathy made her a deeply trusted caregiver and brought comfort to countless patients.
Raised in a close-knit family grounded in faith and community, Pat was a devoted member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She often shared her life motto: "You tried everything else, why not try God?"
Pat passed away peacefully at her home in Lawrence Township, NJ, on March 29, 2025, at the age of 78. She was predeceased by her parents, Queen Esther and Sammie Lang Jr.; her sister, Jean (Willie); her daughter, Stephanie; and her grandsons, Brian and Terrence.
She is survived by her four children: George Jr., Terry (Curtis), Kimberly, and Deborah (Willie); her brother Timothy; her grandchildren: Alicia, Ameerah, Erin, Brandon, Danielle (Brad), Christian, Kyle, Chyna, Patrick, Carolyn, Anthony, Joseph, and Kiersten; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins and friends.
Pat will be remembered for her fiery yet gentle spirit, infectious kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family.

"Make new Friends but keep the old: one is silver and the other is Gold". To my Golden Friend Pat Johnson, I have enjoyed your friendship over 50 Beautiful Years. You have always had such a kind, Gentle and Sweet Spirit. You always said what you meant and meant what you said, in a kind and straightforward way. I always enjoyed our many talks about our jobs, families and above All , We always ended our conversations about the goodness of the LORD and how much we loved him. I will always be thankful for the Friendship that we had on this side of Heaven.
