She attended elementary school in Chattanooga TN. & Stone Mt. GA. Her high school graduation was from Henderson High School in Norcross, GA. Pat pursued a nursing degree from Piedmont School of Nursing.
Her early career choices included Dupont, Kodak, Sportime Industries as an Executive Assistant and part owner of Dillons Restaurant and Sports Bar. Pat was an avid calligrapher, poet, friend, artist, thrifter , traveler & poker player. Many happy moments were spent in water sports & fishing on her houseboat on Lake Lanier and her family cabin on High Falls Lake, GA.
Her surviving family includes her husband of 17 years, Jim Johnson; son, Zach Fuller; sisters, Dawn Marie Spencer and Sharon Lynn Spencer Yost. There are 3 nieces and 2 nephews, plus 2 stepchildren, Ashley Freedman and Jimmy Johnson; and 1 step grandson, Oliver Johnson. She grew up with many cousins, all of which remember her as the "most fun" !! She is preceded in death by her brother, Kirk D. Spencer; and sister, Francis E. Spencer.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Tom M. Wages Funeral Home in Snellville, GA from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM, and then a memorial service in the Tom M. Wages Chapel at 1:30 PM with everyone welcome to attend. This service will be available via streaming service.
Then the celebration of life (Pat's Party) is scheduled at Dillons Restaurant and Sports Bar at 850 Dogwood Road Lawrenceville, GA 30044 also on September 20, 2025 from 3-6 pm. Please come & share your stories/memories about " OUR PAT " with her family & friends. We will all miss Pat in our lives. She made us smile, laugh, cry and remember life was too short to miss the joy of it all. SHE WOULD WANT US TO MAKE JOYFUL NOISE!!
